impedance

Impedance is a hindrance to current in a circuit in a circuit with Resistor, Inductor, and Capacitor.

The impedance is usually expressed by Z, and the unit is Ω.

The impedance is a complex number, the real part is called the resistance, and the imaginary part is called the reactance.

In the circuit, the effect of the capacitor blocking the alternating current is called the capacitive reactance; the effect of the inductor blocking the alternating current is called the inductive reactance; the effect of the capacitor and the inductor blocking the alternating current in the circuit is called the reactance.
